Celebrating over 20 years in business, La Luna Dance Studio has been in operation since 2003 and has taught thousands of students the art of dance through the years and is one of the most beautiful and reputable dance studios in the Tri-State area. Located just outside of Philadelphia in Bucks County, PA, La Luna Dance Studio makes it easy to learn how to dance and meet new people. Our award-winning instructors specialize in Salsa, Bachata, Ballroom, and Tango classes for adults, and we also offer a comprehensive Children’s Dance Program for kids ages 3-18 in Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, and Contemporary!

Sonya Elmore
Sonya was born and raised in Moscow, Russia where her dancing career began. When she was 12 years old, her older sister dragged Sonya to her first ballroom dance class. (more…)

Shannon has been managing La Luna for over 20 years and studied ballet extensively though her dance studies at Rider University and The Princeton Ballet School.

Michael Andino
Born in Manhattan, but raised first in Ecuador and later back in the New York area, Michael is proud of his dual heritage. He was first introduced to salsa in 2000, while in college at Rowan University. (more…)
Gustavo Rueda
Gustavo has been dancing since the age of 15, but movement and music have been part of his life for as long as he can remember. Of Mexican descent, he grew up surrounded by social dance, but it wasn’t until he took his first class at a local studio specializing in Salsa Caleña that he truly fell in love with dance.
Ihor Kravets
Ihor is a Two times former Ukrainian Ballroom Dance Champion, former Ukrainian World Representative, and a United States National Rising Star Standard Finalist with more then 30 years of competition experience.
Lena & Oleg
Lena & Oleg Mashkovich have over 20 years experience teaching Argentine Tango and hosting milongas. Lena is a member of the International Dance Council (CID) of UNESCO, officially acknowledged as dancer and teacher internationally, and allowed to provide an International Certification of Dance Studies to her students. They speak English, Russian, Spanish, Hebrew and Tango.
Theresa Ann Lember (Raisa)
Raisa (stage name) has been studying and performing Belly Dance for over 20 years in the Philadelphia area. Training includes Turkish, Cabaret, and Egyptian styles, with current studies in Tribal Fusion. Raisa is passionate about creating a welcoming, empowering space for dancers of all levels!
George Dennis
George began dancing salsa in 2002. It was a buddy who convinced him to take dance lesson while stationed in Fort Bragg, NC. In 2004, Salsa would make a significant impact on George’s life. (more…)
