George began dancing salsa in 2002. It was a buddy who convinced him to take dance lesson while stationed in Fort Bragg, NC. In 2004, Salsa would make a significant impact on George’s life. While serving in Iraq, he was asked to teach Salsa, Merengue and Bachata to members of the Armed Forces and Civilian Contractors. At the end of his tour, George relocated to South Jersey and began to pursue dance more seriously.
Determined to improve his dance skills, George began taking lessons at the Atrium Dance Studio, Carribean Soul Dance Academy, and the Eddie Torres Dance School.
George now instructs and choreographs partner and group classes for children, teens and adults in the Philadelphia area. His smooth style, intricate patterns and footwork have made heads turn and take notice. His charisma combined with his effective, dynamic teaching techniques has helped him preserve his students and magnetize new ones. George is recognized among his students to be one of the most patient and compassionate instructors.
